General Introduction
Vietnam Airlines was established by the Vietnam government in 1956. It was officially established as the national flag carrier of Vietnam in 1993.
Presently they offer a scheduled service with a daily service from Paris CDG and Frankfurt with B777 passenger aircraft direct into Hanoi (HAN) and Ho Chi Minh City (SGN) with connections to Korea, Japan, Australia, Cambodia and Laos. A daily truck service from Amsterdam to Frankfurt and Paris CDG is in place. Vietnam Airlines has been represented by IAS since the beginning of 2009.
